Intent of Save Invest Life Blog
Saving and investment is like a delay in gratification. A saver/investor is the one who is willing to give up the instant gratification materially and reap the monetary reward instead from the sacrifice he/she made earlier.
Saving and investment in another sense is the reallocation of one’s resources. How much does a person want to save in proportion to your income and asset level? How much does a person want to put aside in saving/investment instead of spending it? Other than his/her own saving and investment, how much is the social safety net out there to support a person? These are some of the issues I quest for in this blog.
As a Christian I believe our God the father means to give us an abundant life on the earth spiritually, not necessarily materially. He would like us to reap the joy when and after we labor. I search for rejoicing in life and work in this blog as well.
I also benefit from the training I received in the MBA program in terms of financial analysis, investment decision, and accounting. I hope the knowledge and skills gained from my MBA study will provide some insights into the personal financing as well.
